Assalamolaikum!
And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah.s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.
( ???? ?? ????? , Aal-e-Imran, Chapter #3, Verse #103)
Im sorry for choosing such a title. But apparently I could not find any other suitable title. I wanted to share what I feel about the issue from a long long time. Currently shias are being divided divided thnx to the conspiracies being carried out day in n day out every day. What we talk about standing in front of enemy when we hve dissension in out lines. Such talk is nothing but Sheikh chilli stories coz ppl who cant even agree on paish namaz in one mosque cant stand together to save the mosque when under siege.
The most apparent division that we create is in our minds which every one of us thinks n many find their moral duty to label the other with titles is difference of namazi and matami (Remember the title is only representational, doesnt mean that a namazi doesnt do matam, or matami doesnt read namaz). Such nonsense which i based only in some stupid thinking is tearing shias apart. N the impact is more than what we think. A common uneducated shia and an alim is now almost on north n south pole. Responsible r the educated ones who put the divisions in between. The 'ulema' and their die hard lovers. Im not pointing to any 1. But im talking about all the division maker ulemas present in both the concepts that have been latlely evolved. Lines have been drawn and titles have been created to break the unity. Fitnas r in every shape n every manner.
|Whether that be about issue of third shahadat or the fuss about zanjeer zani, the debate that should have been only limited to difference of opinion in interpretation has now escalated to the its peaks. I dont know who was the first person in Pak who initiated all the fitna about third shahadat being farz in namaz but whoever he was he has certainly achieved what he wanted n opened a pandora box for fatwas of kufar issued by supporters of the motion n people who were against it. Literally people stopped going to mosques or prayers (still is the case) coz of this very issue. Those who rant about its being farz has forced others to label it as haraam where as classical scholars neither say it haraam nor do they say it farz. Infact it was never an issue. Neither is name of Ali a.s, dependant on namaz n neither does it in anyway degrades it
Shian e Ali a. in history even had said their prayers behind a fasiq governor like waleed in order to save the ummah from fitna n we dont wana read behind a shia. In my lat visit to Syria I had the priviledge to be with one of nicest qafilas one can come with. Being with them made me realize they werent actually doing it for profit but it was a really hectic n tense job. n they loved n really respected their fellow shia brothers. During one of the conversations me n my cousin were having with one of the organisors we came to know that he was in a very close ties with people behind azadar.com. That time issue of Allama Zaki Baqri was pretty hot one. My cousin out of curiosity asked one of them about their posting Allama Sahab's video. N what i heard afterwards was disapointing, although not surprising i must say. He started ranting abot Allama being yahoodi agent n sippah e sahaba agent n God knows how many secret services. I wished i could talk some sense to him but i feared that he might throw me out of the bus (he was quite strong one too ).
But Alas the illusions. The peron was somewhat educated n i only wonder what poison people have filled in the minds of common public. Wolves have penetrated the lines of sheep n in the disguise of ulema r trying to make a clear rift. Fitna in a religion is what i call creating a 'shosha'. Shosha in saraiki language is used as the term that would start a worthless debate which only purpose is either to waste a time or to hold each other collars in the end. Human in general n muslims in particular r intollerant in nature. This is something which i dont take pride knowing that muslims bear that trait. N the fitna makers r exploiting this very trait. Perhaps religion is something too sensitive to be discussed. But if that is so, no one can reach the ultimate truth. something which atleast i can not accept. Fitna makers can be seen in every shape propagating extreme sides of the view n apparently pointing the sword at each other's neck but in reality, only acheiving one common goal: disunity in the lines of Shian e Ali a.s. Whether it be elequent speakers ranting about curses to so called 'muqasireen', or people apparently filled with knowledge labelling others as akhbaris n kafirs, both r creating a division that is now being carried out from one house to another n it seems will follow through coming generations. Becaue of these Ashas Kindi sunnah followers, intellectual ulema like Zaki Baqri and common shia has a huge gap between them. Who are these people can be seen from a fair amount of distance if people really have eyes. They can be found in guise of mujtahid shooting fatwas of kufr from up n down creating fitna about the little interpretations n sacred customs or apparent ashiqan e Ali a.s n literally drunkards claiming to be in Qalandri trance like frame of mind. I dont need to take names. Those who know can understand whom I mean. N those who dont I can only request not to give heads to those who speak of breaking the lines of Siffin. Because it really is siffin. Quite literally
My post would not complete if i dont add 1 more point. Which is about some devotee followers of ulema (now im talking about the good ones). If fitna makers werent enough, than the attitude of some devotee ulema lovers (not ulema themselves) furthur creates divisions. Question n difference of opinion over things is natural n its obvious as well in the absence of Imam whome we r waiting for 1300 years. Difference doesnt mean that we start labelling each others with flashy titles. Or disgreement with the view point of any alim does not mean it is some kind of religious blasphamy. Similarly difference doesnt mean that ppl start cursing alims. They r after all more knowledgable that the common good for nothing. If v dont get more tollerant with our approach im afraid shiaism will be distributed among nusairies n wahabies. N real shias would only be found by using microsocpe.
Such rifts getting strong only mean that many will reject the true Imam Mahdi a.s when he arrives because we have indulged so much in notions created by our own self that we wont accept a change. Get tollerant, be united

ARE SHIAS CULT OR A SECT?
Imams of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) have never presented the Shia as a cult. Rather, Shia was an indentity of an individual who closley followed an Imam from Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) in word and deed. When they refered to the shia or 'Shiatuna' (our Shia) they were talking about a very special group of Muslims having ideological proximity to the school of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) and functionally active, either in open or covert way. Shia is nor a cult neither a sect.
Deep religious and political divisions in the Muslim soceities much after Ghaibat-e-Sughra resulted in formation of sects in Islam. With the emergence of new leaderships, thereafter, there were sub-divisions too in each of these sects. The current Muslim scenario is a chaos. You will find Shias, Hanafis, Malikis and Wahhabis each one claiming to be on the Truth and marching towards salvation while others are qualifying for Jahannum!
You will find Muslim kingdoms but not Muslim Ummah. Where is the Muslim Ummah that Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) formed? We will always be humiliated by the World until we become Ummah. We need to think beyond a sect or a cult. We are Muslims. Those who fought along side Imam Hussain (a.s.) in Karbala were Muslisms. They were Ummah. His opposition was kingdom. His opposition were groups and tribes. Imam Hussain (a.s.) wanted to revert the Muslim soceity towards Ummah. Imam Mahdi (a.s.) will not appear until there's an Ummah.
It's time to stop being a laughing stock in the world. It is Imams (a.s.) who should call us Shia. It is Ahlul Bayt's (a.s.) prerogative. Shia is a special deputation. As Muslims we can always try to remain Shia of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) the more closer we follow them, Inshallah. And remember Imam al-Mahdi (a.s.) is waiting for Ummah.
Imam Ali (a.s.), while identfying Shias, says in Nahjul Balagh: How many are they and where could they be found? I swear by Allah that they are very few in number but their worth and their ranks before Allah are very high.
